In this video includes Gestures (also known as isolations) – the smallest components of Bellydance moves. It is helpful to drill these movements with every practice to develop control and speed, and eventually to coordinate with other layers.
This video is a long continuous practice video which can be used as a full drill series of all Impact/Percussive quality gestures using various parts of the body. We want a sharp accented ending of each gesture which comes with contracting to abruptly stop the movement on the beat.
