What we will learn:

Begin with embodiment practices, breath and creative exploration in the somatic body before we warm up with training sequences designed especially for the demands of this dance form.  Receive a careful breakdown of techniques that both focuses on movement dynamics and quality as well as zooming into the fine filigree-like intricacies of Colleena’s unique fusion style.  We will review some basic posturing with new drill phrases and learn numerous ‘Moves’ and ‘Phrases’ in the Indian Fusion Formation: Level 1 system.  Each class will conclude with a beautiful creative phrase that ties it all together.  Some homework and creative exercises will be given between the 2 sessions.
